03 / YOUR QUESTIONS

A few things to know.

Which one should I use?

Daily for sessions under ~75 min. Long for longer, sweatier sessions. On race day, use Long for electrolytes plus Sprint for fuel.

Can I use Long and Sprint together?

Yes. Sprint is fuel, Long is electrolytes. On race day, sip Long and take a Sprint gel every 20–30 min.

How much should I drink?

Mix as directed and drink to thirst. During long events, avoid drinking more than you need.

When should I take it?

Daily: during or after training. Long: sip during sessions of 90 min+. Sprint: start early in the effort, then every 20–30 min.

How much sugar is in it?

Daily: 1.5 g. Long: 0 g. Sprint: 11 g per gel.

How many can I have a day?

Daily: 1–2 sticks. Check with a doctor if you've been told to limit salt.

Who shouldn't use it?

People with kidney disease, those on blood-pressure or potassium-sparing medication, or anyone told to limit salt or potassium should consult a doctor first.

Should I try Sprint before race day?

Yes. Practise your race fuelling in training so your gut is used to it.
